For 67 years, Naturopathy has been illegal in Florida. Now is the time to change that! Every day Floridians are working around the clock to make this a reality. But we need your help!

To pass, HB 533 will need to pass the Florida State House and SB 470 will need to pass the Florida State Senate before the end of April 2025. Then, the Florida Governor will need to sign the bill into law.

Remember, this bill has to be passed in Tallahassee, so you want to reach out to your leaders in Tallahassee – not in Washington, DC.

We need your help encouraging elected officials to champion this cause! Please take these actions before March 15, 2025:

Email all Members of the House Health Professions & Programs Subcommittee

HB 533 is going for a vote in the House Health Professions & Programs Subcommittee. The 18 Representatives on this committee need to hear from you as soon as possible and by March 5. Send an email to each of these members and ask them to vote yes on HB 533 in committee. Here is an email template. Reach out to all 18 members by email here.

Florida Governor Ron Desantis: Email the Governor

Your State Senator: Find your Florida State Senator by entering your address. Once you find your Senator, click “Email this Senator” to submit a message directly through their website.

Your State Representative: Find Your State Rep by entering your address. Once you find your Representative, click “Contact Member” to submit a message directly through their website.

State Senator Colleen Burton: State Senator Burton is the Chair of the Health Policy Committee, and she decides whether SB 470 will be considered in the Senate or not. Please respectfully write Senator Burton asking for a hearing on SB 470. Click “Email this Senator” to send a message through the website.

Senate President Ben Albitton: The Senate President sets the agenda for the Florida Senate. Click “Email this Office” and respectfully ask the Senate President to support SB 470.

Speaker of the House Daniel Perez. The Speaker sets the agenda for the Florida House. Click “Contact Member” to respectfully ask the Speaker to support HB 533.
